Giants lefthander Madison Bumgarner hasn't been the same since injuing his left shoulder in a dirt bike incident on an off-day in Colorado in April of 2017. Bumgarner is 11-20 combined since the start of the 2017 season compared to 100-67 in the seven previous seasons.

Senzatela is getting his chance to start from the start of his season for the first time in his three big-league seasons. He is 4-0 with a 1.67 ERA in his last five starts against the Giants.

The right side of the Giants infield -- second baseman Joe Panik and first baseman Brandon Belt -- have been the challenges for Snszatela, who has been dominating against the likes of Brandon Crawford and Buster Posey. Charlie Blackmon (.364) has been surprisingly successful in the left-left matchup with Bumgarner.
