Kyle Freeland is looking for his first win in five starts. His last victory? It came against the Phillies on April 18 when he worked six shutout innings, allowing two hits and no walks. That was his first career start against the Phillies. The only other time he faced them was a nine-pitch relief appearance in 2017.

Jerad Eickhoff is 1-3 with a 7.43 ERA against the Rockies, including an April 21 loss at Coors Field this year when he allowed four runs in six innings.

Freeland has allowed a .200 batting average by both Andrew McCutchen and Bryce Harper. Jean Segura (2-for-5) is the only other Phillies player with more than three plate appearances against Freeland. The current members of the Rockies lineup have a combined .326 career average against Eichoff.
