Phillies starter Aaron Nola has been tough on the Rockies. Nola, who finished third in the NL Cy Young voting last year, just ahead of Rockies' left-hander Kyle Freeland, started and picked up the victory in the Phillies only victory in Coors Field earlier this year. Senzatela is adjusting to being a full-time member of the Rockies rotation.
The current Phillies have a combined .306 average against Senzatela, including Maikel Franco, who is 2-for-3 with triple and RBI. Nola's biggest headaches with the Rockies are Daniel Murphy, who faced him plenty of times when Murphy was with the Mets and Nationals, and Charlie Blackmon. Murphy is a .345 hitter in 29 at-bats. Blackmon is 6-for-10.
