The Rockies are one of only three teams to win a series against the Phillies, having taken three of four at Coors Field in April. The Phillies also lost two of three to the Brewers, and two of three to the Mets. The Phillies are in first-place in the NL East, 1 1/2 games ahead of the Braves.

The Rockies are coming off a split of a two-game series at Boston, both games going into extra innings. The Rockies are in fourth place in the NL West, working to overcome a 3-12 start to the season. They head into the weekend having won 17 of their last 27 games.

The Rockies have four players on the injured list, and that could be cut in half. Jake McGee and Chris Rusin rejoin the Rockies in Philadelphia after pitching for AAA Albuquerque on rehab assignments. A decision will be made Friday on whether to activate them or send them to AA Hartford for more work.
