The Rockies return to Coors Field after a six-game road trip, having won three in a row after suffering eight consecutive losses. They are 6-12, in last-place in the NL West, five games behind the Dodgers. The Phillies, meanwhile, are off to a good start, sitting 1 1/2 games up in the NL East.
The Rockies have been hit hard with injuries. At one point seven players projected to be on the Opening Day roster were on the disabled list. That reduced to six with the activation of Antonio Senzatela on Tuesday, and could get smaller in the next day or two with possible returns of Ryan McMahon and David Dahl.
The rotation is lined up if the pitchers can handle their challenges.
The Rockies have won 7 of the last 10 games from the Phillies.
