There was stagnation at the top of the NL Wild-Card standings. The top four teams all lost, but none was more damaging than the Rockies, who blew a six-run lead in the ninth en route to losing to the Padres.
The Dodgers continue to build their lead in the NL West. They are now 11 games up on the Rockies and D-backs, who are in a virtual tie for second place, although the Rockies have played two fewer games and so are one percentage point ahead of the D-backs.
