Left-handed pitcher Chris Rusin’s rehab assignment continues at AA Hartford, where he has made two appearances since being placed on the Yard Goats’ roster, allowing four runs on six hits and three walks, striking out five in four innings over two appearances.
Rusin, out since March 1 with a mid-back injury, previously made four appearances with AAA Albuquerque, where he allowed seven hits and four earned runs, striking out four and walking two in 5 1/3 innings.
Meanwhile, outfielder Noel Cuevas, who went on the injured list the day after his April 15 call-up from Albuquerque to the Rockies, is now on a rehab assignment with the Isotopes. Cuevas went 0-for-2 before suffering the strained left quad.
Before his call up, Cuevas hit .378 with four home runs and 14 RBI in 11 games with Albuquerque.

AAA Albuquerque (23-25) lost 1-0 in 10 innings at Las Vegas (A’s). Jesus Tinoco (3-1, 4.91) suffered the loss, and the Isotopes losing streak was extended to four games. Chi Chi Gonzalez (5.81) started and had no-hitter for 6 2/3 innings before Corban Joseph doubled. Garrett Hampson (.412), Pat Valaika (.367) and Roberto Ramos (.262) accounted for the Isotopes offense with a single apiece.
AA Hartford (25-21) was off. The Yard Goats open a series at New Hampshire (Blue Jays) Friday.
High A Lancaster (24-20) split a doubleheader at Inland Empire, winning Game 1 14-4, and losing Game 2 1-0. Will Gaddis (2-4, 8.10) was credited with the win in Game 1, allowing four runs on seven hits and two walks, striking out seven, in five innings. Carlos Herrera (.288) was 3-for-4 with three runs scored and RBI in Game 1. Sean Bouchard (.295) was 3-for-4 with a run scored and two RBI. Joel Diaz (.286) was 1-for-2 with three RBI, a run scored and a double. In Game 2, Matt Hearn (.324) was 1-for-2. Matt Dennis (2-3, 6.00) suffered the loss, allowing the lone run on four hits and a walk, striking out two in four innings.
Low A Asheville (18-28) lost 7-5 against Charleston (Yankees). Alexander Martinez (1-3, 3.26) suffered his second blown save in a row, suffering a four-run ninth that included two Asheville errors, including one by Martinez. Willie MacIver (.258) was 2-for-4 with a triple. Kyle Datres (.233) hit his third home run, a three-run shot. Nick Bush (5.18) started and allowed three runs on four hits, striking out eight in six innings.
