Peter Lambert, the 22-year-old right-hander rated the No. 1 pitching prospect in the Rockies organization, will make only his third start of the season at Albuquerque on Sunday. Lambert is 2-2 with a 5.80 ERA in eight starts for the Isotopes this year -- 1-0 with a 4.00 ERA in the two starts in Albuquerque and 1-2 with a 6.53 ERA in the eight starts on the road.
Lambert was 8-2 with a 2.43 ERA in 15 starts at AA Hartford a year ago before an in-season promotion to Albuquerque, and was a mid-season All-Star in the Eastern League. He also was a mid-season All-Star in the California League in 2017. He has been a non-roster invitee to the Rockies big-league spring training each of the last two seasons.

AAA Albuquerque (22-21) won 12-2 against El Paso (D-backs). Former Rangers first-round draft choice Chi Chi Gonzalez (3-3, 6.80) earned the win, allowing one run on five hits and two walks while striking out five in six innings. Brian Mundell (.400) was 3-for-5 with three runs scored, two doubles, two RBI and his fourth home run of the season. Yonathan Daza (.369) was 4-for-6 with his fifth home run and three RBI. Pat Valaika (.333) was back in the lineup for the Isotopes after a two-game stint on the Rockies big-league roster, and hit his ninth home run in 18 games with the Isotopes. Josh Fuentes (.264) was 3-for-4 with two RBI.
AA Hartford (23-19) won 5-3 against New Hampshire (Blue Jays). Ashton Goudeau (3-2, 1.97) pitched six perfect innings, striking out five, to earn the victory. Logan Cozart (2.45) worked the ninth for his second save. Vince Fernandez (.292) was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. Arvicent Perez (.263) was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and his first home run.
High A Lancaster (22-20) was rained out s at Visalia (D-backs).
Low A Asheville (15-26) won 9-5 at Lexington (Royals). Nick Bush (3-3, 5.26) allowed three runs, two earned, on four hits, striking out six, in 5 1/3 innings. Coco Montes (.239) was 2-for-5 with his third home run and three RBI. John Cresto (.28) also hit his third home run, going 3-for-4 with two runs scored and three RBI.
